List of Language translator duties:
- Translates written and oral communications in foreign languages into English, and vice versa.
- Serves as an interpreter between English speakers and non-English speakers.
- Prepares related reports and documentation.
- Performs related administrative duties.
- Ability to research technical and historical information pertinent to a meeting or work session
- Provide advice about incidental information which may be significant
- Translating, including content and copyediting of rules text and other game-related text.
- Editing (for grammar, punctuation, spelling, style, and language-specific slang) in localized language of expertise from translated documents.
- Proof and revise, as necessary, game-related text in both electronic and hard copy formats in localized language and in English.
- Regular reporting of progress to both in-house management.

List of Language translator qualifications
- Knowledge of written and verbal form of appropriate foreign language and English depending on area of assignment.
- Skill in interpreting and translating the appropriate language into/from English depending on area of assignment.
- Must be detailed oriented with proven ability to multi-task various projects at the same time.
- Must be a team worker.
- Native level language skill of their localization language.
- Previous experience in the gaming industry is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated experience utilizing specialized technical programs to translate is essential. Experience with Word and Excel is required and ability to learn new programs is essential.
